Profits go to refugee causes. I will be exhibiting my war paintings based on the conflicts I covered in the 90s – Bosnia, Rwanda and Kosovo; and doing a 20 minute talk accompanied by a powerpoint of the photographs I took for national newspapers during those conflicts.
The theme is the refugee cycle and what the West should do. The ‘Bleedin Blaggards’ have organised this great event and are headlining an evening of live music involving many of their friends. Please come and support this great event to show support for refugees across the world.
The image is one of many I took in April 1999 on the Kosovan / Albanian border when several million Kosovan refugees were ethnically cleansed by Serbian troops from their homes in Kosovo. Today Syria is the flashpoint.
