Two oil paintings on glass raised from a white backboard by metal standoffs in a new technique I’ve begun experimenting with. These two works may be part of a joint show beginning in two weeks at Gallery Artemis in Cockermouth. The first is called ‘Boat in a storm off St Ives Harbour’ and the second is called ‘The Melancholia of Mr Okins.’
