On Saturday 4 July, Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw from Bradford City Council invited me to participate in Remembering Srebrenica with an exhibition in Bradford City Hall of my war paintings and photography from my days as a photojournalist in Bosnia.
Srebrenica Memorial Day honours the victims and survivors of the genocide, a unique opportunity to remember the lives lost, to highlight the continued consequences of genocide and to reaffirm Bradford City Council’s commitment to strong community relations in the city.
