These two new oil on canvas paintings, The Road to Ennerdale and Red Cow Below Frizington, are similar in style to an earlier piece – Burneside, Kendal.
Delighted that the fabulous Italian restaurant, Tarantella, in Cockermouth has sold yet more of my work – mounted and framed prints this time: ‘Autumn Beech Leaves Crummock’ and ‘Ravenglass Boats Before the Storm.’ My current show at The Beacon Whitehaven Cumbria in Whitehaven is on until 12 July – had some sales and good feedback so far. I’m painting new work for the opening of The Shining Tree Open Studio and Gallery early next month (details to follow about the launch) and I’ve a meeting in Middlesbrough at the Python Gallery Middlesbrough to discuss my exhibition there.
